About Claire Tomkinson: Founder of Clarify Sex Education
The Heart Behind Clarify
Hi, I’m Claire Tomkinson, and I created Clarify Sex Education because I believe that connection is the most important—and most powerful—part of parenting.
Your connection with your child is the foundation for everything. It’s the root of your influence—the way you shape their health, their emotional well-being, their relationships, their decisions, and the way they see themselves and the world.
There is no one on earth who cares more about your child’s future than you do. And as the person who loves them more deeply than anyone, I want to empower you to use that influence to its fullest, most life-changing potential.
Clarify: A New Way to Talk to Your Child About Sex
Clarify Sex Education isn’t just about teaching kids the facts about sex. It’s a platform for what may be the most important part of your parenting journey: building a deep, lasting connection with your child during the most crucial and complicated years of their life.
In today’s world, sex education for kids is more important than ever. Adolescents are growing up surrounded by constant digital noise—where information is instant, unfiltered, and often confusing. The voices they find online are constantly shifting, and rarely grounded in truth, safety, or love.
In the rush of modern life, we’re missing it—missing the chance to truly show up and guide our children through puberty, relationships, identity, and consent.
And yet, never before have kids needed our presence more.
What Hasn’t Changed: The Power of Love, Time, and Connection
Here’s what’s still true: the human brain, the human heart, and the deep, timeless need for parental love. The most powerful expression of that love? Time.
Time is what tells your child: You matter. You are safe. You are loved.
That time becomes connection.
And connection is how we influence the hearts and minds of our children.
The deeper the connection, the stronger the influence.
Why I Built Clarify
Before I ever created this platform, I studied psychology to better understand how people grow and relate. Then I spent seven years as a middle school youth director, walking with families through some of the most emotionally complex and transformative years of childhood.
For the last 15 years, I’ve been teaching sex education to kids and parents through live workshops—helping families replace shame and discomfort with clarity, safety, and love.
Again and again, I saw transformation:
Parents became confident, calm, and clear.
Kids felt seen, safe, and respected.
Families walked away more connected than ever before.
That’s the work I knew I needed to share more widely.
So I took all the tools, conversations, and frameworks from those live sessions and created The Clarify Lesson Series—a self-guided, online sex education course for families. It’s designed to meet you wherever you are and walk with you and your child through adolescence into adulthood.
Sex Education Is More Than a Talk—It’s a Lifelong Conversation
Teaching your child about sex, puberty, consent, identity, and relationships isn’t about having one big, awkward talk. It’s about building an ongoing, open relationship rooted in trust, truth, and connection.
With Clarify, you’ll gain the tools to:
-
Start sex education early and age-appropriately
-
Answer hard questions with clarity and confidence
-
Pass on your values and beliefs in a way that feels natural
-
Create consistent moments of connection that last a lifetime
This is more than a course—it’s a framework for parenting through puberty with purpose and presence.
You Are Your Child’s Greatest Influence
You are your child’s first teacher. Their safest place. Their most trusted guide.
Nothing—not school, not friends, not the internet—has more power to shape their self-worth, their decisions, or their relationships than your relationship with them.
Yes, I know you’re busy. Life moves fast. But I also know this: there is no greater investment of your time, your love, or your energy than this.
Clarify is here to help you show up—clearly, confidently, and connected—for the conversations that matter most.
Let’s Turn Awkward Into Authentic
Let’s turn the most uncomfortable part of adolescence into one of the most meaningful experiences of your parenting life.
Be their source.
Be the first to tell them the truth.
Be the love they never question.
This is how we raise safe, confident, kind, and whole humans.
Clarify is more than a program.
It’s an expression of my love—for you, for your child, and for the transformation that’s possible when we choose intentional connection.
I believe in you.
I see how much you care.
And I want to support you—because this matters.
Not just for your child.
But for the kind of future we’re building, one conversation at a time.

I recently had the opportunity to speak on The Sean Donohue Show (available on all podcast platforms and YouTube). It was an open, uncensored conversation with top parenting podcaster Sean Donohue, Family Coach, and co-host TV's Jordan Steele. We dove deep into the importance of sex education, a parent's critical role, as well as topics like pornography, masturbation, and more.
If you're interested in learning more about my perspective on these subjects, my life, and my values, this podcast episode is a great place to start.
